Well the pattern continues with more storms.  Since we talked about rain last week, we can skip that and take a look at some pictures.  Yes, I do have a couple of rain but there’s a lot more to life on the island than rain.

The calm before a storm
During inclement weather in the US some school systems allow for “snow” days and some allow for “hurricane” day; here on Corn Island the schools have “rain” days.  If it rains heavily a few hours before school, the school day is cancelled.  And that’s the way this week was.  Monday, Thursday, and Friday were rain days.

Again this week I awoke to some great sunrises over a calm Caribbean sea.  I think it’s time to look for a spot on the western side of Corn Island to watch the sunsets; you know just for comparison.
